Pini Balili Super Volley

The Israeli first division is certainly a very interesting one. Good players, nice goals. Pini Balili scored a screamer, with a 30-metres stunning shot, on the volley. The ball stopped in the net and the keeper could not parry it.

Koeman's final goal

It's the Uefa Champions League final between Barcelona and Sampdoria. A free kick is given, 25-metres away. Ronald Koeman is the man for the job. He steps up to smash home the ball with a screamer. The wall was practically inexistent. The Dutch defender scored and he brought his contribution to Barcelona's first and last trophy in the Champions League competition, in it's glorious history. It was the year 1992.

A Champions League match between Barcelona and FC Porto. The Dutch central defender, Ronald Koeman, gets the ball in his own half. He races for 20-metres with no player to challenge him and steps up to smash home a 25-metres shot. The keeper deflected it, but not enough to save it.

The French midfielder is known to be a unique figure. He was a very good player, but above all he had attitude.
He had a very strong personality. Like in this match, for example, where he was found in space down the opposite team's left,
he took over the ball, 20-metres away, and scored with a long range lob that went directly into the goal's right corner.
The keeper was a long way off his line. He didn't enjoy this; he was looking at the other amazed players, like saying "Hey, why don't you restart playing?"
