Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Highlights

His name is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. But his nickname says everything: The Baby Face Assassin. The striker is one of the best man to play for Norway in the last years. But even though he is mostly a reserve for his club, he became well known after scoring the goal that helped his team to win the Uefa Champions League final in 1999. This is the reason why his manager keeps him at the club; he never disappoints him. This is a collection of some of his best and most important goals.

Solskjaer super Tackle

This is something that deserves fans applauds. During a match, a player escapes to counter attack all alone, with no one to follow him. He thought he could easily score, but he was wrong. Proving that the team is more important than his chance to play in the first team, the Norwegian striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the eternal reserve player, makes a last man tackle which means he automatically got a red card. But this is less important than the fact that his team did not concede a goal. This is what altruism is.

Champion Winning Goal

Man Utd. vs. Bayern Munchen. It's the 92nd minute of the game. One minute before, the English team equalized. Another corner is given to Man Utd. Giggs sends the ball into the box, Teddy Sheringham tries a header, but it falls to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who hits it from two metres and scores the goal that sent the Champions League trophy to Manchester.

John Arne Riise compilation

John Arne Riise began his career in his homeland with Aalesund. After a single season as a senior player for the club, he moved abroad in 1998, and played the formative years of his professional career with French club Monaco. He was a regular member of the 1999-2000 Ligue 1 championship-winning side, however, he fell out of favour with coach Claude Puel after admitting his desire to leave. Riise was subject of interest from English Premier League clubs, especially Fulham and Leeds United that both tabled £4m bids in 2000, though both came to nothing as Monaco wanted £6 million for him.
