Excuse me worm, but the other competitions I like more. It's not tricky enough. I could use wikipedia, take the answer and google it, then I name you the other site. If you understand what I mean. If you take a picture and we don't know what it is, we can't use wikipedia.

Well this is what I got right now, I dont want to make them all the same, you might as well do the wikipedia thing, some questions will be easier than others. Also, that is why I made the question in 5 parts. Take it or leave it, its pretty much a free point

Well I cant really tell if people just arent interested in this question or in the whole competition idea

Anyway, here is your first hint

Ireland is divided into 4 provinces, and x amount of counties. The provinces are Leinster (East), Munster (South), Connaught (West), and Ulster (North). Northern Ireland has 3/4 of Ulster. And another hint, the Republic was proclaimed out side of the General Post Office, in Dublin

2nd Hint, though it doesnt look like this is going to be answered (by laziness, rather then hardness, I guess )
Before Ireland severed ties with England, they were basically a dominion, which is basically what Canada is now to England. The time between when the independence was introduced, and when all ties were severed, Ireland was called the Irish Free State
