Howto use flashfxp guide

After I have created an ftp account with a subdomain the first thing you'll need is an ftp client, you can use any like wsftp, cuteftp, dreamweaver, smartftp and the one I like to use is flashfxp. A demo can be downloaded at

http://download2.flashfxp.com/zip/FlashFXP_302_Setup.exe

Once you have your Ftp client, most of them will have
very similar options, in most cases you will need to
add three things to connect to an ftp address.

a)IP
b)username
c)password
and in some cases
d)a site name

Hopefully you have downloaded flashfxp, because this
guide is mainly targetted towards flashfxp users

You've just installed the program so you can now begin

1. open up flashfxp
2. go to - sites - site manager
3. click on new sites
4 . enter details
for ip -enter eg(footballclips.net) or an actual ip

- username - (username given to you)
- password - (the password given to you)

then press connect.
Now you have two sections a remote and a local directory.
The local directory will be on the left(this is where all
your files will be).
The remote will be all the files on the web server.
(in some ftp client its different- though most allow you
to configure this in the options.

To transfer the files you will need to do a few things
1.Navigate to yourfolder that has the downloads by using
the dropdown menu. 2. Drag the file from the local panel onto the remote
side(right panel) 3. This should start the transfer automatically, if it
doesnt, simply right click on the file and click on
tranfer.(shortcut== navigate to file and press
cntrl T- transfer should start automatically.
whenever you want to restart that ftp just go into
sitemanager f4 and double click the account you created

additional notes
sometimes people will post an ftp account, in once
sentence, if you see that, then in flashfxp all you
need to do is
press f8 and paste the sentence it should connect
automatically, if not just press connect
